For organisers

A public display is not just the few minutes in the sky.

Public events need a display that works for the site, the audience and the organisers. The firing position, crowd line, fallout area, access, timings and noise profile all affect the design.

We provide a complete end-to-end fireworks service. That means practical advice at the enquiry stage, sensible display design, safety documentation, site planning and a firing team that understands organised public events.

Design logic

Scale, pace and visibility matter.

For public displays, the audience is spread across a wider area than a private event. The display needs enough height, width and pace to hold attention from the main viewing positions.

A longer display is not automatically a stronger display. A given budget can be shaped into a longer, more measured build, or condensed into a shorter display with more energy throughout. For many public events, 13–15 minutes gives the best balance of build, scale and finish.

Public event work

Built around the event, not a generic package.

We work with organisers who need the display to be visually effective, properly planned and straightforward to manage from their side.

How we handle it

Clear planning before anything is fired.

We look at the event in practical terms first. Where can the display be fired from? Where will the audience be? What is around the site? What access is available? Are there noise considerations, livestock, neighbours, roads, buildings or aviation issues to consider?

Once the site makes sense, the display can be shaped properly. From there the display becomes a blank canvas: duration, intensity, choice of effects and finale design can all be adjusted around the event.

01

Site and audience

We establish the firing area, audience position, access and any obvious restrictions.

02

Display design

The show is shaped around duration, scale, pace, safety distances and budget.

03

Delivery

Our team handles the professional firing side, with the paperwork and operational planning agreed in advance.

Bonfire period

Public Bonfire Night displays are bespoke rather than package-led.

Bonfire period work starts from £4,500 + VAT. From there, the right figure depends on the event size, duration, site, audience spread and the level of impact required.

For public displays, it is better to start with the date, venue, audience size and rough budget. Once we have that, we can shape a sensible display around the event rather than forcing it into a fixed package.

For event teams

The organiser needs certainty, not guesswork.

Public displays involve more moving parts than private work. The organiser needs to know that the display company understands the site, the paperwork, the audience and the operational side of the job.

That is where experience matters. Fantazia Fireworks was established in 1985 and has spent decades working around real sites, real audiences and real event constraints.
